Quad Cities Station Units 1 and 2 Application for Amendment to Facility Operating Licenses, DpR-29 and 30, Appendix A, Technical Specifications NRC Docket Nos. 50-254 and 50-265

Dear Mr. Murley:

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, comunonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A, Technical Specifications to Facility Operating Licenses DpR-29 and 30 to make several changes. The proposed change deletes the upper bound of the Reactor Low Low Water level tolerance and correct a typographical error.

These changes are listed in Attachment 1 and further described in Attachment 2.

The proposed changes have been reviewed and approved by both On-site and Off-Site review in accordence with Commonwealth Edison Company procedures. Wa have reviewed these troposed aner.dments in accordance with 10 CPR 50.92(c) and determined that no significant hazards consideration exist.

This evaluation is documented in Attachment 3.

Commonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinois of our application for this amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter and its attachment to the designated State Official.

In accordance with 10 CFR 1~10, a fee remittance in the amount of

$150.00 is also enclosed.
