JAN 1 1 W3 Docket Nos. 50-416/417 Roger S. Boyd, Assistant Director for Boiling Water Reactors, L REVIEW SCHEDULE FOR GRAND GULF UNITS 1 & 2 We have performed a brief review of the.information contained in Amendment No. 1 to the Grand Gulf PSAR.
This amendment was to provide the additional information requested as a result of our mini-review.
The applicant states in the amendment that the bypass leakage analysis, system description of the drywell vacuum relief system, and subcompartment pressure analysis are now incomplete, and will be provided in March 1973.
The Level D review schedule requires our first set of questions by April 6, 1973.
This schedule was predicated on receipt of all information by February 1,1973.
Because the above-men.ioned incomplete items are important to our review, we cannot conduct our review on this schedule.
We, therefore, request a slippage of the order of 6 weeks because of the applicant's incomplete response to our mini-review.
If all the information is provided in March, we will be able to provide you with questions from the Containment Systems Branch by May 11, 1973. Appropriate changes should be made in the schedule.
