The V. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment i No.lll to Facility Operating License No. DPR-39 and Amendment No.100 to  !

Facility Operating License NPF-48 for the Zion Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2, respectively. The amendments consist of changes to the Technical Specification in re.,ponse to your application transmitted by letter dated December 24, 1987 and nodified February 11, 1988.

These amendments allows steam generator tubes to be repaired by utiliziilg Westinghouse mechanical sleeving methodology.

A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. A Notice of Istuance will be included in the Connission's biweekly Federal Register notice.
