Subject:
Request for License Amendment Gentlemen Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, New Hampshire Yankee (NHY) hereby proposes to amend the Seabrook Station Operating License by incorporating the proposed changes, provided as Enclosure 1, into the Seabrook Station Technical Specifications.
Revised Bases for Section 3/4.0 are provided as Enclosure 2; however, pursuant to 10CFR50.36(a) those Bases are not considered part of the Technical Specifications.
The proposed changes are consistent with the guidance of Generic Letter 87-09 (Reference (b)), and represent a clarification of existitig requirements.
Based upon the fact that the proposed changes are being made to conform with changes in the regulations and the STS, NHY has determined that they do not involve a Significant Hazards Consideration pursuant to 10CFR50.92.
Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR170.12(c), the application fee of
$150.00 is enclosed herein.
