LOADING CRITERIA FOR SUBMERGED STRUC'URES Your letter to Dr. G.. G. Sherwood, dated January 5,1977, requested additional information on loading criteria for submerged structures.
Recent NRC tetters to all Marg I utilities' and our underst3ndin7 of the NRC's proposed options for Mark II design both indicate that tn3 compu-tational method for establishing desigrf loads for submerged structures toula fCllow the resolution of GESSAR-238 NI.
Therefore, GE intends to review our proposed program for generic resolution of this issue with these owners groups before responding to your request. We will advise you on or before February 28, 1977, of the date when we will submit a response to / cur request.
