By letter dated May, 17, 1995, the Florida Power and Light Company, submitted for NRC approval, its proposed license amendment regarding reactor coolant system pressure /terperature (P/T) limits. This request stems from new information on beltline materials data, which becomes available as a result of l
Generic Letter 92-01 review. The amendment contains proposed changes that affect P/T limits and their corresponding Bases in the St. Lucie Technical Specification (TS) 3.4, and some editorial changes in TS 3.1.
The Materials and Chemical Engineering Branch has reviewed the submittal.
Based on our evaluation, we conclude that the proposed P/T limits for heatup, cooldown, hydrotest and criticality of the reactor coolant system are acceptable and they may be incorporated in the St. Lucie Technical Specifications.
In addition, all proposed changes to TS 3.1 and TS 3.4 and their associated Bases are acceptable.
Enclosed are the safety evaluation report (SER) and SALP. This SER completes our effort for TAC No. M92412.
