At 0120,on li/01/85 with the plant in operational condition 2 (startup), a Division I Reactor Water Cleanup System isolation occurred as a

result of a spurious Reactor Water Cle.anup filter demineralizer room 1 high temperature alarm.

The Reactor Water Cleanup System was placed back in service with no further problems.

There was no impact on the safe operation of the plant or the health and safety of the public.

At 0120 on 11/01/85 with the plant in operational condition 2

(startup),

a Reactor Water Cleanup (RWCU) System Division I isolation occurred.

Immediately prior to the isolation, a

RWCU filter demineralizer room 1

high temperature alarm sounded.

The room temperature was checked and found to be normal.

Upon investigation of the event it was noticed that the RWCU differential flow timer relay caused spiking noise to any temperature unit being read whenever the timing relay energized or de-energized (see LER.85-029).

RWCU differential flow indication was unstable during this period due to flashing at the blowdown flow transmitter (see LER 85-024).

A modification (MR 85-1037) is in progress to correct the flashing problem, as are maintenance work requests (MWR-10435 and MWR-15553) to correct the noise spiking problem.

This event posed no hazard to either plant op' erat.ng safety, nor the health and safety of the public.

Continued operation is unimpaired.
