SUBJECT:
SUleARY OF MEETINGS ON V0GTLE, UNITS 1 AND 2 QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW On June 12 and 27,1984,..etings were held between the NRC staff and representatives of Georgia Power Company (GPC) in Waynesboro, GA and Bethesda, Maryland respectively, to discuss the Vogtle quality assurance review. Participants are listed in Enclosure 1.
i At the June 12 meeting the staff discussed each of the quality assurance questions which were transmitted to GPC by letter dated April 30, 1984, in oraer to provide necessary clarification. GPC described to the staff their quality assurance program and indicated how they planned on responding to the staff's questions.
The June 27 meeting was held to discuss the applicant's draft responses to staff questions. These draft resporises were ' attached to the June 26, 1984, meeting notice. GPC indicated that final responses to staff questions would be transmitted July 16, 1984, as part of Amendment.8 to th air Final Safety Analysis Report.
