SUBJECT:
REPORTING SERVICE The perfomance of Free State Reporting Inc. has not improved appre-cicbly since the awarding of the contract. A large percentage of the transcripts are not acceptable due to excess inaudibles, missing text, incorrect names, and late delivery.
They are still using direct rtcording with some steno mask input.
That is in violation of the contract.
The reporter was missing during approximately 20 minutes of the Metal Components Subcommittee Meeting, September 14, 1984.
The transcript was unacceptable due to the nurrber of inaudibles and missing parts of the meeting.
The transcript for the ACRS Subcomittee meeting on Regulatory Policies and Practices. September 5,1984 is being returned for the second time due to the excess number of inaudibles and errors.
Very Pp few corrections were made to the first revision. We have not marked all the errors, as we do not have the time and should not be expected to find all the errors.
We did mark parts of the transcripts to show the problems.
Concerning Friday's session of the 293rd treeting of the ACRS, the Iyo second revision of this transcript is also being returned due to excess inaudibles and other errors.
