H. ZIMMER POWER STATION SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL LICENSE SNM-1823 Pursuant to 10 CFR 70.38, this letter is to request that NRC Special Nuclear Material License SNM-1823 be terminated. A completed copy of NRC Form 314 and radiation survey reports are

. attached for the unieradiated reactor fuel assemblies and neutron' detectors covered under this license. A radiation survey report for the area in which the neutron source (also covered under this license) had been stored will be submitted with our request for termination of NRC Byproduct Material License No. 34-07251-04.

This request will be submitted when all byproduct material has been removed from the site. ,

In accordance with the other requirements ofs10 CFR 70, Form NRC-3, " Notice to Employees", will remain posted for 30 days after transfer and records of special nuclear material transfer will be maintained in company files.
