NRC POSITION ON POTA M IODIDE: DIFFERING PROFESSIONAL OPINION Peter Crane's differing professional opinion (attached) on the NRC's

position on the use of potassium iodide raises a number of substantial questions about the adequacy of NUREG/CR-1433 and some of the analyses used li to support the agency's position. I would appreciate the staff's views on the concerns raised by Mr. Crane.
