Dear Mr. Butcher:
Generic Letter 84-15 Diesel Generator Reliability The Omaha Public Power District responded to the subject Generic Letter in correspondence dated December 28, 1984.
In that response, OPPD stated that testing requirements as specificd in the Fort Calhoun Station Technical Specifications would be reviewed.
If deemed excessive, or counter to relia-bility considerations, an Application for Amendment would be prepared. OPPD has reviewed the existing Technical Specifications and does intend to prepare an Application for Amendment. Our schedule for doing so is tentatively set for one month after returning to full power operation from the current re-fueling outage. This schedule was discussed with our NRC Project flanager in a telephone conversation on October 8, 1985.
This letter serves to formalize that conversation.
