J This is in partial response to your letter dated June 13, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), all documents regarding a Perfonnance Appraisal Team inspection conducted at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) starting the week of March 1,1985, and fire protection deficiencies at SONGS.

The documents listed on the enclosed Appendix A are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) in PDR file F01A-85-425 under your name.

The NRC has not completed the search for and review of documents sub,iect to your request. We will respond as soon as those actions are completed.
