MEMORANDUM FOR: /Chaiman Palladino h

FROM:

[ Ben B. Hayes, Director Office of Investigations

SUBJECT:

OIA REPORTS ON RIV INVESTIGATIONS AND INSPECTIONS AT COMANCHE PEAK We have reviewed the OIA reports and do not feel that any action is required by this office.

As the Comission is well aware, the staff is in the process of developing procedural guidelines on confidentiality, allegation tracking system, and recording of allegers information. These actions already underway, in my view, would go a long way in precluding the OIA findings in the future.
