CONTACT WITH f B1 IN REFERENCE TO VALVE TAMPERING EVENT AT BIG ROCK POINT-ALLEGATION Rlll-A-87-042 (Docket No. 50-155)

As a result of discussions with C. Weil and E. Pawlik on June 22, 1987 pertaining to the inspection results for allegation Rill-A-87-042, it was determined that we should contact the FBI again to confirm that they have no investigatory concerns in reference to the valve tampering which occurred at Big Rock Pc int t etween i ebruary 1-12, 1987. Our investigation of allegation Rlll-A-87-042 is com9leted and we were prepared to notify the licensee of our findings and conclusions provided our centxt ,cuid not ;ctentially impact on a f BI investigation of valve inpering.

Jir Creed celled a NRC HQ Information Assessment Team (I AT) representatin on Jure 22, 19E7.
