Appen/lvs2.3 _y' Ap f orv ~ LOGIC CHECK h TESTING OF BREAKER 103-2 (RSST) Signature Initials Time Date Authorization for Start (Watch Engineer) Initiated by Completed by Reviewed by (Watch Engineer) The following test will check out fast transfer and 27/86 tripping of the RSST breaker. This test will cause a loss of Chem. Lab power for its duration and power outage to Security and loss of lighting. The outage should be of short duration. PART A 1. Ensure EDG 103 is in lockout. 2. Place EDG 103 supply breaker 303-8 in P.T.L. /- s,/ 3. Have NSST supplying bus 103 (103-1 closed). 4. Place RSST breaker 103-2 in the test position. 5. Inform Security and Chem. Lab of power outage. 6. Place NSST breaker 103-1 to P.T.L. 7. Bus 103 goes black. The RSST breaker 103-2 closes (Test position), however the bus still experiences under voltage. 8. 27/86 device trips on MCB. 9. RSST breaker 103-2 opens.

10. Restoring Power:

10.1 Pull U.P. fuses located in the RBSW "C" (103-3) cubicle. 10.2 Reset 27/86 device (MCB). 1 10.3 Close NSST breaker 103-1. 10.4 Replace U.P. fuses (Step 10.1). p $PFz 7. s o y'a i-3 - -.

Return all other buses to conditions as specified in 13. 23.368.91 and 23.399.91. Check with Security and Rad. Chem ensuring all back to normal. 14. 4 LOS$ OF POWER CHECK TESTING OF BREAKER 103-2 RSST #2 PART B 1. Ensure EDG 103 is in lockout. 2. Place EDG 103 supply breaker 103-8 in P.T.L. Have NSST supply breaker 103-1 in P.T.L., have RSST supply 3. breaker closed. 4. All other buses should be aligned to the NSST. Request the System Operator to open OCB 640 (69 KV Supply to ( 5. RSST). 6. .RSST breaker 103-2 trips open. Verify communications with the System Operator is operable 7. including the dedicated telephone line, UHF radio link, and normal plant telephone system. Request the System Operator to reclose OCB 640 (69 KV 8. supply to RSST). Restore power to the 103 bus by performing the following: 9. Pull U.P. fuses located in the RBSV "C" (103-3) cubicle. 9.1 9.2 Reset 27/86 device (MCB). 9.3 Close NSST breaker 103-1. 9.4 Replace U.P. fuses removed in Step 9 1. 23.368.61 and 23.369.91. 10.
