TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO NEW YORK STATE I wish to express Region I's appreciation for the technical assistance rec,ently provided by Will Om Mills and his staff and in particular Shlomo Yaniv, for the analysis of cancer risk resulting from inhalation of Am-241. The analysis was superbly prepared and will be of assistance to New York State in their efforts to bring the Am-241 centamination problem to a resolution. We appreciate the efforts reflected in the analysis.
