cross-connections are included in the Vennont Yankee design.

Each ECCS

.a subsystem is supplied by an individual suction pipe from the torus.

The suction piping is supported by a combination of variable-spring fs hangers and floor-mounted supports, neither of which is supported from

4 The plant has completed the requested detailed inspection of the

I% e installed ECCS system suction piping support hangers. The results of

[f'7 '

this inspection revealed that no installation inadequacies or physical damage exists.

In addition to this most recent inspection, the RHR and (t.QJ Core Spray systems were extensively tested during the preoperational

..s 4,4 test program at design system flow conditions. Hangers were observed g;-[-L during both pump starting and operating conditions to insure that no excessive pipe movement or hanger loading was experienced. A post-LgN installation inspection of all hangers was also conducted to confinn FU..
