Dear Mr. Stolz:
In response to your letter dated December 21, 1982 (Log. No. 1163) regarding proposed Appendix B Technical Specifications, the Toledo Edison Company requests an extension of six months from the pro-l posed date of January 27, 1983 to submit our response.
Toledo Edison requests to extend this response period to allow time for a thorough evaluation of the comments submitted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regarding the submittal of our revised Appendix B.
Specifically, we will evaluate and respond to NRC comments concerning the proposed Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) in replacement of the Environmental Technical Specifica-tions (ETS) for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
Toledo Edison will eval' ite the requirements of the Environmental Protection Plan and th IRC comments on previous studies conducted in compliance with Appendix B (ETS) of the Davis-Besse Technical Specifications. Our conclusions will be submitted on July 26, 1983.
