20555 NRC DOCKET 50-321 OPERATING LICENSE DPR-57 EDWIN I. HATCH NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 WITIORAWAL OF HPCI IND RCIC LCO CHANGE PROPOSAL Gentlemen:

By letter dated April 5, 1982, Georgia Power Company (GPC) proposed an amendment to the Plant Hatch Unit 1 Technical Specifications (Appendix A to the Operating License).

This amendment would have changed the requirements ft the High Pressure Coolant Injection (HPCI) system and the Reactor Core Isolation Cooling (RCIC) system to require both to be operable at reactor pressures greater than 150 psig.

GPC hereby withdraws this proposal from further consideration by the PRC.
