REQUEST FOR CHANGES TO THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Gentlemen:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Georgia Power Company hereby Iequests changes to the Technical Specifications ( Appendix A to the Operating Licenses) for Units 1 and 2 of Plant E. I. Hatch.
Each requested change is presented as a separate attachment which includes a description of the requested change, copies of affected pages, and instructions for incorporation into the Technical Specifications.
Following is a brief description of the requested change for each attachment: -
ConfirmatoIy submittal for emergency relief of dIywell inerting LCO for Unit 1 per our letter of February 8, 1982. -
Extends time for corrective actions for making rod pattern adjustments for Unit 2. -
Adds a RBM rod block clamp at 107% of rated power on Unit 1. -
Extends LCO for an inoperable LPCI inverter for Unit 2.
Included with the proposed changes is a determination of amendment class (attachment 5).
We have deteImined this to be one Class 1;V amendment.
Payment is enclosed accordingly.
