Saenger, a Medical Consultant under contract with NRC, has been discussed by Mr. Keppler and Mr. Cobb and subsequently turned over to you for resolution.
In the process of obtaining information from this office regarding Dr. Saenger's claims, we were told by you that his retainer fee is
$135 pet day.
Please refer to your memorandum dated January 16, 1975, listing Medical Consultants and their retainer fees.
That list shows only Dr. Niel Wald at $135 per day.
Processing claims is very time consuming because phone calls must be made or letters written to obtain, or clarify, information sub-mitted by the consultants.
If we are not kept up-to-date on changes in these contracts, we cannot be expected to prepare vouchers without further antagonizing these consultants.
