As per Chairman P=11=Aino's request enclosed is our monthly ststus report regarding the subject information.
As you are aware, every Region III power reactor installed and tested their system by yebruary 1,1982.
In addition, special inspections vers conducted at each site to verify installation and testing. As a result of those inspections, no major deficiencies were identified.
However, several deficiencies were identified as a result of the initial
, tests. Counitments are being made by tha licensees to ensure these deficiencies are corrected by June 1, 1982, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(s)(2).
Status of FEMA, Region Y reviews is unchanged. We are working closely
, with FDIA, Region V and VII to review the liccusee's system. Joint
, observation of tests to chac*r. the design objectives of the system will be scheduled for CT 82.
