The attached letter from the Naval Undersea Research and Development Center requests that AEC license SNH 1154 be amended as follows:
a.
Add authorization for the possession and use of a 10 curie plutonium beryllium neutron source, for neutron activation studies.
b.
Delete authorization for the possession and use of 50 milli-grams of plutonium 238 in the form of fused plutonium dioxide micro-s'pheres.
c.
Reduce authorization for the possession and use of molyb-denum clad cermets from 100 grams to 20 grams.

d.
Delete the mame of W. W. MacKenzie as the alternate radio-logical safety officer.
This office endorses the statement of use and handling procedures for the neutron scurce and requests that the license be amended to reflect all of the above.
