PROPOSED RULE - 10 CFR 170 Enclosed for your informatioa is a copy of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking relating to materials and inspection fees that was published on December 1, 1989, for a 60. day public comment period.
Pen.and-ink corrections have been made to the copy. Please note that public meetings will be held.in Region 1 on January 8,1990, and in Region III on January 11, 1990, to discuss the proposed rulemaking. To help prepare for those public meetings and the final rule, particularly in light of the comment (item A.4.(d)) received by the Chairman from the Organization of Agreement States dated November 16, 1989, we would appreciate receiving from your office a copy of the current fee schedules from those Agreement States that assess fees.
