Dear Mr. Clark:
The Conunission's letter to Omaha Public Power District, dated February 18, 1982, forwarded a Franklin Research Center (FRC) request for additional information related to the environmental qualification of safety related electrical equipment installed at the Fort Calhoun Station.
Except for one document, the information requested in Part A of FRC's request was provided with the District's letter dated February 8,1982. The one document not provided was a final report by Wyle Laboratory on cable splices inside the Fort Calhoun Station containment.
This report is still incomplete and will not be available until April 4,1982 at the earliest. Once received, a copy will be forwarded to FRC.
The District's response to Part B of FRC's request has been forwarded directly to FRC as specified in your February 18, 1982 letter.
The Conax Corporation reports contained herein are deemed to be " cot mercial or financial information" within the meaning of 10 CFR S 9.5(a)(4),
as specified in 10 CFR 9 2.790(b)(2). Accordingly, the District re-quests that they be withheld from disclosure in their entirety pursuant to the provisions of that section.
