ATTACHMENT 1 NUREG-0737, Item No. II.F.1.1 - Wide Range Noble Gas Effluent Monitor Item No. II.F.1.2 - Sampling System for Iodines and Particulates NRC Required Completion Date: January 1, 1982 Present Status and Reasons for Delay:
The wide range noble gas effluent monitor and sampling system for particulates and iodines are being procured from Victoreen, Inc.
Victoreen, Inc. guaranteed delivery of the system by December 1, 1981, in accordance with our contract.
However, Victoreen will not meet this date due to problems in procuring materials from its suppliers. Victoreen has promised a new delivery date of December 15, 1981, with the ex-ception of automatic flow controllers which will be delivered on March 1, 1982.
Isokinetic nozzles for the system have been installed and the District plans to install the balance of the system by January 15, 1982.
Assuming the automatic flow controllers are available by March 1,1982, the entire system will be tested and operational by March 31, 1982.
New Completion Date: March 31, 1982 Deviation From NUREG-0737 Requirements:
With the exceotion of the schedule, the proposed system of Attach-ments 1 and 2 will meet all requirements of NUREG-0737, Items II.F.1.1 and II.F.1.2.
ATTACHMENT 2 NUREG-0737, Item No. II.F.1.1 - Main Steam Line Radiation Monitor NRC Required Completion Date: January 1,1982 Present Status and Reasons for Delay:
The main ~ steam line radiation monitor was initially designed to.be an on-line system.
Since an on-line system was impractical due to the many release points to atmosphere, the District decided to install an off-line system.
In order to install an off-line system, two electri-cally operated valves are necessary and the earliest delivery of these ~
valves is March 31, 1982.
The balance of the off-line system is ex-pected to be delivered by December 15, 1981. The main steam line radiation monitoring system, with the exception of electrically operated valves, will be installed by January 31, 1982. The complete system is expected to be operational by April 20, 1982.
New Completion Date: April 20, 1982 Deviation From NUREG-0737 Requirernents:
With the exception of the schedule, the main steam line radiation monitoring and wide range noble gas effluent monitoring systems will meet all requirements of NUREG-0737, Item II.F.1.1.
