Dear Mr. Stolz:

This is in response to your letter (Log No. 903) dated February 10, 1982 concerning Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Fuel Oil.

Currently, Toledo Edison does not include EDG Fuel Oil at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. I within its Quality Assurance (QA) program.

Toledo Edison has taken steps to incorporate EDG Fuel Oil under its QA program and formal inclusion into the program should be completed by April 15, 1982.

Until that time, Toledo Edison testing will be performed in accordance with the proposed QA program.
