IRRADIATION SPLICES 1.0 PURPOSE 1.1 To explain how to make splices that will go through the irradiation process.

2.0 APPLICATION / RESPONSIBILITY 2.1 This instruction:is applicable to all departments and its personnel who make splices in a product that will be irradiated in a subsequent operation.

2.2 It is the area supervisors responsibility to assure that all personnel who make splices follow this instruction.

NOTE:

Cables are spliced for efficiency and economy l'T of production at various operations.

All splices are made for manufacturing purposes only and shall be removed prior to shipment.
