Dear Ms. Garde:
This is in further response to your letter dated December 14, 1982, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, documents prepared in connection with the Speci'al Inspection Report on San Onofre dated November 30, 1982.
The documents listed on Appendix A to this letter are already' in.the Public Document Room (PDR),1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC in folders "F01 A-82-528 CARPENTER."
The docun. eats listed on Appendix B are being placed in the PDR.
You'may obtain access by requesting folder "F01 A-82-618 GARDE."
A home address and home telephone numbers have been de'leted from the two

Because disclosure of this infonnation would constitute a clearly. unwarranted invasion of personal privacy, it is being withheld' from public disclosure' pursuant to exemption (6) of the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. SS2(b)(6)) and 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6) of the' Commission's regulations.
Pursuant to '10 CFR 9.9 of the Commission's regulations, it has been determined that the information withheld is exempt from production or disclosure, and that its production or disclosure is contrary to the public interest.

In your letter and in a telephone conversation with Carol Ann Reed on January ll,1983, you requested information on drafts of the final inspection report.
Ms. Reed has contacted Region V and has been informed that no drafts of the report exist.
The report was typed on a word processing machine and when the drafts were corrected and the new versions proofed, the old versions were destroyed.
