Dear Mr. Deist:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your submittal dated December 10, 2019 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Number ML20003D291),
transmitting Version 15.0 of the Framatome Richland Facility's Emergency Plan, which includes the latest revisions to the Facility's Emergency Plan, Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures, and Memoranda of Understanding. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff completed a preliminary review of the information provided and identified no major deficiencies.
As discussed in Staff Requirements Memorandum for SECY-16-0009, Recommendations Resulting from the Integrated Prioritization and Re-Baselining of Agency Activities (ADAMS Accession Number ML16104A158), the NRC licensing staff will no longer perform detailed reviews of such documents. Therefore, we are referring your submittal to the NRC inspection staff for an evaluation of the changes during a future inspection of your facilitys licensed activities. Please note that no cost activity code is being assigned to this action.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this communication will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web Site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
