Steam Generator #12 Pressure.

i As found readings showed its effect on the Channel ZD No.12 Steam Generator Low Pressure Trip bistable was negligible. Hewever, in the range of the No.12 Steam Generator Low Pressure Block bistable, its i

output was high such that the Channel ZD Block bistable would have reset approximately 13 psia below its limit.

The blocking function is enabled by a 3 of 4 channel trip matrix and is j

removed automatically'when 2 of 4 channels are reset. Technical Specifications require the automa+ic removal of the Block (or Bypass)

function at or above 685 psia Steam Generator Pressure, A facility change (No. 80-25) will be performed on this and similar instruments to increase their reliability. The change replaces capacitors with high failure rates with more durable components.
