Dear Mr. Denton:
The application for construction permits and operating licenses for Byron Station Units 1 and 2 and Braidwood station Units 1 and 2, docketed September 20, 1973 are hereby amended by submittal of Amendment 30 pursuant to Section 50.34 of 10 CFR 50.
Amendment 30 to the Byron /Braidwood FSAR consists of voluntary revisions of Chapters 4 and 15 and Sections 1.3, 1.6, and 6.2.1.5 which are necessitated by optimization of the fuel assembly design.
Three (3) signed originals and fifty-seven (57) copies of this amendment are submitted for your review and approval.
