U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ANALYSIS OF NORTHSTAR VERMONT YANKEE, LLC RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON THE REVIEW OF THE STATUS OF THE DECOMMISSIONING AND SPENT FUEL MANAGEMENT FUNDS FOR THE VERMONT YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

By letter dated September 25, 2019, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession No. ML19277E372) the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received the NorthStar Vermont Yankee, LLC (NorthStar) response to request for additional information on NRCs review of the status of the decommissioning and spent fuel management fund for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY) (ADAMS Accession Nos. ML19087A318 and ML19087A276). Based on the staffs review of NorthStars submittal, NorthStar has satisfied the decommissioning and spent fuel management funding assurance reporting requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.82(a)(8)(v) - (vii) for VY.
