Pursuant to 10 CFR 71 paragraph 12(b) requiring that all users of shippit.g containers used to transport type B or large quantities of radioactive material be registered as a user of the containers on the Certificate of Compliance of each individual container, the following request is herewith submitted.

In accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 71.12(b) of 10 CFR 71 and 49 CFR 173.393a, Southern California Edison Company requests registration as a user for the Model CN 6-80A shipping package described in Certificate of Com-pliance No. 9111, Revision No. 3, Docket No. 71-9111 issued to Chem Nuclear Systems, Inc., P.O. Box 1866, Bellevue, Washington 98009.

Southern California Edison has an N.R.C. approved quality assurance program in effect and on file with your department.
