Dear Mr. MacDonald:
As per a phone conversetion with Mr. Richard Odegaarden of your staff on June 2 3,1981, I requested on the behalf of Dairyland Power Cooperative to be added to your approved users list for the USA /9111/A, Model CN6-80A, steel encased, lead shielded cask for the transportation of solid radioactive material.
We wish to be allowed to transport greater than Type A quantities in this cask as per item 5(b.2) of Docket No. 71-9111.
We plan to use this cask to transport radioactive spent demineralizer resins from the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor, Genoa, Wisconsin to the Barnwell Waste Management racility of Barnwell, South Carolina on June 25 and June 28, 1981.
