This refers to your application dated Seatember 13, 1988 for the renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9111 for tie Model No. CNS 6-80 2 and No. CNS 6-80-2A packages.

In connection with our review, we need the information identified in the enclosure to this letter.

The information requested should be submitted within 45 days from the date of this letter and should be in the form of revised pages to the Safety Analysis Report.

Your application dated September 13, 1988, requesting renewal of the certificate is considered to satisfy the conditions for timely renewal. Accordingly, Certificate of Compliance No. 9111 Revision No. 11, will not expire until e final determination has been made by the Comission.

If you have any questions regarding this matter, we would be pleased to meet with you and your staff.

1. If additional units will be fabricated, the following information should be included on Drawing No. C-110-D-0028 Rev. A:

a. The code or standard for qualifying the welders and welding procedures,

b. The method for examining welds and the standard for acceptance as given in paragraph 8.1.1 of the Acceptance Test.

c. The need to apply anti-tamper seals on the lid bolts as referenced in paragraph 7.1(9)(d) of the Operation Procedures.

d. The torque requirements for the lid bolts as given in paragraph 7.1(7) of the Operatin.? Procedures.

e. Either by note or detail, give the markir,g and identification requirements for the package pursuant to 10 CFR 971.85(c). l Acceptance Test and Maintenance Program

1. The acceptance leak test should include the sensitivity such as that given in your letter of June 29, 1983.

2. A check of the drain for proper operation should be included in the ,

maintenance program.

3. A seal replacement frequency such as that given in your letter of June 29,1983 sho'11d be included in the maintenance program.
