Dear Mr..Ziemann:
This letter is in responso to ihc letter from IIr. Goller, dated August-5, 1974, requesting a progresc report every three months starting Hoveraber 5,.1974.
This is report lio. 5.
' The. HPCI System Design Report was submitted by fir. I.ce's letter to 1ir. Rusche dated October 16, 1975.
This report covered all of the Emergency-Core Cooling Systems (3003) in the proposed configuration with HPCI includin6 modifications to remove the vulnerability to failure of a' single onsite power source and was written in the foricat of'the_HRC Standard' Review Plan (Chapters 6 and 8).
A reduced _ coolant flow. supplement to the Dresden Unit l' 100FR50 Appendix K ECCS analysis "with HiCI" was prepared 'by Genera 1T Electric and we ' expect to submit it to the lidC before the end of Novenber 1975.
