Dear Mr. Zicmann:
This is Quarterly Progress Report No. G for Dresden Station Unit 1 High Pressuro Coolant Injection (HPCI) System installation.
Further progro cs was made in the enginecring and equipent procurement arcas during the past three months.
Engineering, npcci-fications, drawings, and purchase awards have been proceeding along

the lines as described in the Dccign Report which was cubmitted on October 1G, 1975.
The status of the various ccaponents of the HPei system is given in Tabic Ho.1 (attached).
i Answers to the URC qucations regarding the " plant as is" 1;CCS analysic as tranciaitted by your lctter dated november 7, 1973 ugro cubmitted to you by our letter dated December 15, 1975.
Our letter dated January 7, 1976 answered the URC quections transmitted by your letter dated December 31, 1975.
A response to the quantions in your January 26, 1976 letter is being prepared at the present tino.
In order to better monitor and manage the schedulo of the HPCI system addition and the improvement of on-sito powcr availability, the Commonwealth Edison Company construction Scheduling and Coct Control Department has bcon enlisted to follow the progrecs of the -Drccdon Unit 1 HPCI project. - TF'.s relatively ncu dopirtment, which employs many of the latest schedu~ ing and coct control manaqcment techniqueu including co.aputer progrcms, has primarily been involved uith the engineering and construction of new poucr stations.
