- While performing Control Room Air Intake Chlorine Monitor Calibration and..

Operability Surveillance, procedure HNP-1-3974, the fan motor on the sample l

line on.iionitor 1Z41-N022B was found to,be. inoperative.

The redundant i

monitor 1Z41-N022A was operating correctly.

Tech Spec 3.12.E-1 requires

. one monitor to be ope'rable.

This is not a repetitive occurrence.

There t

was no effect on public health or safety.

The Wallace an.d Tiernan Model 50-125 Chlorine Analyzer monitors control room air intake and isolstes the ventilation system.

The analyzers are shared'by the Unit I and Unit II Control Room.

The 'cause of the failure -

was determined to be an open motor winding.

The motor was replaced and the surveillance procedure was performed satisfactorily.

The generic review did not reseal any inherent problems.
