O APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Duke Power Company License No. CPPR-116 t
Catawba Basad on the NRC inspection September 22-26, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below.
These items have been categorized as described in corre-spondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
t As required by 10CFR50, Appendix B, Criterion V and implemented by DPC Topical Report, Paragraph 17.1.5 activities affecting quality shall be prescribed by documented instructions procedures or drawings... and be accomplished in accordance with these instructions, procedures or drawings.
Contrary to the above, on September 25, 1980, the inspector identified that instrument tray and tray supports were installed on safety related motors without approved drawings. The tray and tray supports were installed on the component cooling water pump motor IA2 and the fuel pool cooling pump motor IA. The above motors are safety related.
