. Response to Inf raction 50-413-414_/80-28-01 Infraction T: requi red by 10CFR50, Appendix B, Criterion V and implemented by DPC innical Report, Paragraph 17.1.5 activities affecting quality shall be prescribed by documented instructions procedures or drawings . . and be accomplished in accordance with these instructions, procedures or drawings.

Contrary to the above, on September 25, 1980, the inspector identified that instrument tray and tray supports were installed on safety related motors with-out approved drawings. The tray and tray supports were installed on the component cooling water pump motor 1A2 and the fuel pool cooling pump notor 1A. The above motors are safety related.

_P;e_spon s e The imnroper installation of the instrument tray and tray supports on the safety related motors has been documented on nonconforming' item 'eport 9713. Evaluation of the nonconformance required that the instrument tray support be removed from the notor and'the tray supported in accordance with design drawings and specifi-catien. It also required that the craftsmen be trained not to mount supports to motors.

The supports have been removed,.and the tray supported correctly. The training will t,e done this week.
