REPORT Georgia Power Company Plant E.

I. Hatch Baxley, Ga. 31513 Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-321/1980-065 During normal Rx Startup on June 14, 1980, the Unit 1 nitrogen storage tank was found to contain less than 2000 gallons.

Primary containment inerting was in progress.

This increased usage of nitrogen was the cause of tank level being low.

Nitrogen

.<as. ordered immediately and the storage tank level was restored to greater than 2000 gallons at 2330 CDST on June 14, 1980.

This event occurred previously on August 8, 1978, see Event Report 50-321/1978-064.

There was no effect to public health or safety.
