CONSEQUENCES OF SAB0TAGE AT NONPOWER REACTOR $. FIN A7153 J

This is.in response to your memorandum dated August 3D, 1984, which requested additional FYS4 funding of $70K for the sub.iect project.

The Program Support Branch will be submitting a work order to Los Alamos National Laboratory for $g3K (currently budgeted) for initiation of this project.

Due to the fact that this effort is cosunencing so late in the fiscal year, this funding should be more than adequate to cover the cost of work to be perfomed in FY64. Concurrent with this action, a prvposal will be requested for FY84-FY86.

The Division of Safeguards will review the LANL's proposal when received and at l

that time should determine a reasonable funding profile. Your Division should budget for the appropriate funding levels and, if necessary, revise the Project Descriptive Sunenary accordingly.

FY85 funding will be provided LANL after receipt of the proposal evaluat on and e funding authorization from your Division.
