This refers to your letter dated March 7,1980, in response to our letter
dated February 21, 1980.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective actions documented in your
letter. These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection of
your licensed program.
However, regarding corrective steps to prevent recurrence, inform us of the
mechanism which exists to avoid further items of noncompliance with Technical Specification 5.8.1 (as regards Regulatory Guide 1.33, November,1972) when
a new plant system is installed or an existing system is modified.
Please submit your reply to this office within twenty (20) days of receipt
of this letter.
