This refic: to your letter dated April 23, 1980, in response to our letters
dated February 21 and April 7,1980.
Thank you for informing us of the actions to prevent recurrence documented
in your letter. These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection
of your licensed program.
In addition, it is our understanding, based on a telephone discussion between
Mr. E. Jackson of your staff and Mr. J. Serabian of our office on May 21, 1980,
that Procedure No. 0-01-1,'" Design Change and Alteration," Revision 5,
currently requires that an evaluation be made to determine if new procedures
are required, pursuant to Regulatory Guide 1.33, November 1972, when an
axisting plant system is modified.
