This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. Warnick and Beratan
of the Division of Compliance on December 20-21, 1971, of activities
authorized by AEC Construction Perrait No. CPPR-51 for the Crystal River
3 facility, and to the discussion held with Mr. E. E. Froats of your
staff during the inspection.
The area examined during this inspection was the grout ~ing program de-
scribed by you at the time the construction permit was issued.
Within
this area, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of the
Foundation Engineering Report prepared jointly by Gilbert Associates, Inc.,
and Woodward-Clyde and Associates, interviews with plant personnel, and
observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of nonconformance were
identified.
