I. Ilatch Baxley, Georgia 31513 Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-321/1980-015.

During normal operation at 100% power, on February 7,1980, an operator observed the Drywell Temperature Recorder, IT47-R612, to be stamping f

erratically and high.

The cause of the recorder printing erratically and high was a microswitch in the recorder printing mechanism out of adjustment.

The switch was re-adjusted and the recorder was returned to service. The reason for the switch being out of adjustment was attributed to normal wear.

This is the second occurrence of this nature for a Taylor Model 21403 Multi-point Recorder, IT47-R611; Reference LPR l-80-009.

l This problem is not applicable to Edwin I. Hatch, Unit II.

Recorders from this vendor are not used on Hatch Nuclear Plant, Unit II.
