DOE ADVISORY PANEL ON WASTE MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION In my November 30 memorandum tc you (copy enclosed), I indicated that DOE's advisory panel on alternatives to managing and financing the high-level waste program had completed its work, and that we were awaiting their final draft report for review. We have received the final draft and I would like te request your assistance in this review.

A copy of the report is enclosed.

In particular, please focus on id?

ifying the impacts on NRC's regulatory role that could be expected if the P l's recommendations were implemented.
