CPPR-116 Duke Power Company CPPR-Il7 Catawba Nuclear Station Based on tha hPC inspection March 13-16, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with h7C requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in corte-spondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Criterion XVII of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50, and implemented A.

" Sufficient records shall be maintained to furnish evidence of activities affecting quality.
The records shall also include closely related data such as qualification of personnel.
Contrary to the above, licensee records do not substantiate welder qualification maintenance for welder A60 from June 25, 1978 to August 8, 1978.
